Provide coordination and oversight for JVI’s Human Trafficking Eradication Initiative in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Legal Advisor will work with the DJRC Director to coordinate, oversee and support the work of consultants and lawyers handling bonded labour, sex trafficking and other forced labour cases on behalf of justice venture clients in these states;

Facilitate the delivery of pro bono legal aid services;

Provide advice and help facilitate JVI’s intervention efforts including assistance with justice venture selection, engagement strategy, and service delivery;

Regularly report the progress of goals to DSA management and JVI;

Participate in justice venture organizational assessments;

Advise and assist justice ventures in designing rights-based development strategies and other justice interventions to address human rights violations.
